Company History

After careers in the oil field and industrial manufacturing businesses, the Calgary based founders of Redstone Custom Door turned their hand to the custom woodworking industry. Early products included furniture, cabinets, architectural woodwork and wood doors. After merging with another shop specializing in wood exterior and patio door products, an alliance was formed with our Salt Lake City based partners who have long careers in the wood, window and door business.  Our U.S. presence and western connection provided the sales and marketing expertise needed to expand and refine our clad wood specialty patio doors. Soon, the company focused on custom wood and clad wood sliding and folding doors in a few western states, and wood interior and exterior doors in Canada.

In early 2008, the U.S. company brought in Woodgrain Millwork Inc., an experienced and respected manufacturer of architectural products and components, as a new majority partner.  The financial depth and market access of Woodgrain Millwork will provide Redstone Custom Door the resources required to expand our offerings to our existing customers and to add significantly to our geographical footprint.  For more information on Woodgrain Millwork, Inc. please visit http://www.woodgrain.com/
